Our catchment includes Ballarat, Ballan, Bacchus Marsh, Daylesford, Maryborough, Creswick, Meredith, Ararat, Stawell, Horsham and beyond, all the way to the SA border. We recognise there may be many kms between our catchment areas. If you reside outside of these but we are your closest association, please reach out! We aim to support all members in our region in any way we can.

The Ballarat and District Multiple Birth Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families with twins, triplets or more. Established in 1976, BDMBA provides encouragement, support and social opportunities for families of multiples. Completely ran by volunteer parents of multiples. We hope you’ll join us for our LLTF NICU Connections & Multiple Birth Playgroup – Ballarat session! Monday 5th October 10am - 12pm Russell Square meeting room Enjoy a cuppa in a supportive space to chat, share experiences, reduce isolation, and build connections with others who truly understand what life can be like after a neonatal journey or multiple birth while the children play. Our playgroup is guided by a Life’s Little Treasures Foundation’s trained peer support team member and SCN graduate mum of twins, Samantha. Online Antenatal Night for Parents Expecting Twins, Triplets or more!

Are you currently pregnant with twins, triplets or more? 👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼 ✨ Join us for our FREE ONLINE session on Wednesday the 14th of October @ 6pm-8pm. ✨ Ballarat, Daylesford, Ballan, Bacchus Marsh, Ararat, Horsham, Hamilton, Maryborough and beyond! 🗺️ We have an unbelievable line up of presenters including; 📣 Dr Lachie Brennan - Obstetrician at OGB and Grampians Health with a strong interest for multiple pregnancy and birth. He will be discussing a range of topics around multiples pregnancies and birth and common scenarios encountered.🤰 Nicole - Social Worker at a Grampians Health Services Ballarat and specialises in the SCN ward for supporting parents of multiples that require extra support during SCN stays. 🏥 Belinda will also be joining us from the Ballarat City Council. Belinda will be discussing how MCHN can support parents of multiples in the community. 👩‍❤️‍👨 We will have a number of local families sharing their experiences from navigating feeding and comforting 2 babies, juggling other children with newborn twins and hear about the tips, tricks and equipment actually worth buying from those who understand the logistics of having multiple babies. ✅ Hear from our own committee about the supports we are providing to those currently pregnant with multiples and in the first years of life. 🤩 You're welcome to pre submit any questions for any of our presenters before the night, otherwise there will be opportunities on the evening to ask your questions. We also welcome all to attend our next brunch catch up happening on Saturday the 17th of October. More details to come on our page. ☕️🍪

Join us for a casual brunch catch up for the whole family. Come for coffee and baby chinos, or come for a full feed. Champagne Lounge, Lakeview Ballarat Saturday 17th October 9.30-11.30am Free Event is open to member families and also non-members expecting twins, triplets or more in our region. The room holds approx 30 with extra tables in the bar area. Limited pram parking.
